I have a daughter who needs a computer for school, she has bad credit.who could she go threw to get one she is on a limited income. So she needs small payments. Is there a ligitmate company she could go threw. And not a rental center she can't afford that. Please help

Have you tried a pawn shop or a computer store for a used one. The desk top I am typing on right now cost 100 dollars ( not including monitor and keypad) total cost under 250 and I use it every day.

Chuck's advice is good. Or have her ask around to her friends at school. Your average computer geek will have parts and such kicking around and could probably put together a servicable solution for her with minimal cost and effort. It wouldn't be great, but it would be able to run anything she needed for school.

*note* I use the term geek lovingly. I am a lifelong geek and proud!
