Do a search on this site. This has been discussed many times and it involves lubricant or parts replacement if worn.

CHERYL- After awhile a dryer is used ,all the heat seems to make the factory greese in the shaft bearings to go dry and causes the dryer to really do some squeeling, will drive a person crazy::What can be done for a temp fix is to use some 3in 1 oil ,with a long squirt tube on it and squirt some in the area where the shaft is in the back and front. OR you can take it apart and put some new high temp greese in the bearings, and it will usely last a long time :: IF you want to do the new greese job ,let me know and I can lead you threw on how to do it and put the dryer back togreather again :: GOOD LUCK AND GOD BLESS :: F.B.E.
