    I am a little confused!:confused: i'm suppose to be getting braces either this month or sometime in march maybe & we have geha federal dental insurance the high option plan & i was wondering if i got invisalign how much would it cost for just the top teeth since my bottom teeth are mostly straight:d or would my insurance cover lingual braces? & could i get my braces done @ monarch dental where i go to get teeth pulled, etc,. :( i just want to kno what kind of braces my insurance will cover now so i can kno before march comes... thanks in advance ;)

    Your dentist should be able to submit some kind of predetermination to the insurance company. They can submit all the choices and then you can decide once you hear back. You really should have a qualified orthodontist provide your treatment.

    Many insurance companies won't pay for braces, because they consider is a cosmetic item and not necessary. This is unfortunate, because often times straitening your teeth can improve your oral health dramatically over the course of your life.
