I have upgraded to AOL 9.1 from 9.0, since doing so I have the problem of 9.1 always starting by itself when it's not needed.

Any help from anyone?

Click on start and then run and type msconfig, hit enter

-click on the startup tab and uncheck anything that is related to AOL and click Apply - Do not restart computer when asked

-go to control panel and add/remove programs

-in the list of prgrams, you will see prgrams related with AOL

-If you Know you do not use/need one of the features installed there that is an AOL product, uninstall that product

Once above steps, restart PC and hopefully this will resolve issue

Now when you start AOL, it should just load what is needed to start the program
