I installed a new single lever kitchen faucet. When the faucet is turned on, hot, cold, or a mixture doesn't matter, there is a violent shake and knocking, whick does not go away even if you let the water run. How do I fix this?

Read up on the parts/instructions and plan on shutting the water to valve and then remove the cartridge assembly and see if you can see anything obviously wrong with the cartridge or if anything is stuck in the faucet. While the cartridge is out, pulse the hot and cold water (cover faucet with rag) to clear the lines of debris/sediment... ok?

If you hear chattering noises/other sounds while purging the faucet WITHOUT cartridge in place then the problem could be in the SHUTOFFS under the sink..?
