How to communicate with your partner
I've been seeing this guy for a few months now. I like him a lot. I feel so happy when we're together. I like what we have. There's something that scares me though. I moved two hours away about a month and a half after we first met. We still see each other a lot on weekends and talk during the week. But I think that as my feelings grow I'm starting to become scared that he might become bored with it or something. I know I shouldn't be thinking about it since we're not having any problems, so I don't know why it crosses my mind.
Something else that bothers me a little is that I'm not quite sure how he views us. Dating or relationship? (I'm sorry, I've gotten rid of Facebook during the summer so I don't know officially what our status is considered). But seriously, I want to sort of talk to him about it but I don't want to get all emotional and scare him off. I don't want him to think I want to move really fast with what we have, because I don't want that. It's just that I feel like I'm starting to care about him so much and I want to know if he feels the same way about me.

I'm sorry if it seems like a stupid question, I think it mostly has to do with communication early on in a relationship.

Well, if you two see one another on the weekends and you guys talk during the weekdays...

... I think you're entitled to ask the guy what you two are. Take it from there.

Let him tell you what he wants, and you be honest with him about what you want.

See if this helps. Its an interesting read.

I also see by your other posts you have personal issues to deal with, that takes a priority, and could (will ) affect your thinking, perspective, and outlook. Keep it real, and work toward the positive, as there is already enough stress in the world without you adding your own to this relationship.

Enjoy it, and stay busy being in love with yourself as well as the b/f.
