Me and my partner had unprotected sex on the 2nd of December and I took an emergency contraceptive within two hours. The contraceptive is effective 98% if taken within 24 hrs of unprotected sex. My partner didn't inside me either. I got my period early that month i.e 8th , when it was due for the 17th . Since I was worried , I tried a home pregnancy test at 3 intervals , after a week , 2 week and after 4 weeks . All three were negative. Yesterday was 8th of January , my period is still to come , could it be possible that even after 3 negative tests and even a contraceptive , I could be pregnant . I'm really worried.

Anything's possible. Have your periods always been regular prior to this incident? Odds are you're not pregnant, but to be safe I'd wait another week and then take another test.

No they've not always been regular , rather I've had irregular periods... they come 3 days early or 4 days late , sometimes twice a month but the only concern as of now is that are these tests enough or should I go for another one ?

The emergency contraceptive pill likely through your cycle off a bit. Since your periods tend to be a little irregular, give it another two weeks and see what happens... your period may just show up late. As was said, odds are you aren't pregnant given the situation, but all you can do now is wait.

Thank you both , I guess I'll have to wait . Though I've taken another test and it still is negative but I am not able to stop myself from being worried.

It is very unlikely you are, and stress and worry can cause timing issues also. But as noted, there is always a chance if you are having sex, esp unprotected.
