    Movie title
    Looking for a title of a movie made before 1990. The title has Love and Rose in it. My husband says in the last scene a guy tells a girl how he feels about her. Thought the guy was Christian Slater but my searches came up empty. Could be drama, romance or combo of both. Anyone?

    Maybe The War of the Roses (1989)
    Or Norman Loves Rose (1982) (never heard of or seen... but has both in the title)

    Couldn't find much more with both in the title...

    The first thing I thought of was Bed of Roses and it has CS in it, but it was made in the mid 90s.

    Found the answer... Sean Connery and Christian Slater in 1983 thriller about murders of several monks at a monastery. It is The Name of a Rose.
