    Replace faucet no pressure
My husband has replaced faucet in kitchen sink and now no water pressure. What is wrong?

Is there water anywhere else in the house? Did he turn the shut offs back on? Did he read the instructions? Did he follow the instructions? Did he flush the unit properly?

    Hi all...

I'm betting that the aerator got clogged from sediment that got disturbed during installation.

Have your hubby remove the aerator at the end of the faucet, clean the aerator, run faucet/water with aerator OFF and then if pressure restored re-install the aerator... should be all set.

Otherwise, answer EPM's questions and we'll see what we can come up with.

When you change out a faucet it's possible to disturb minerals built up in the pipe walls. The very first thing I would do is remove the aerator ,(see image) from the spout and checking the screens for trash. Turn the water on with the aerator removed. Do you have a strong stream? Let me know. Good luck and thank you for rating my answer. TomOops! Sorry Mark! I posted right on top of you. It's nice to know we're on the same page
