I'm a very passionate person who feels a strong pull toward music and film. I'm drumming for a band right now, and it's going very well. But I also feel such a strong pull to pursue acting. I'm with a girl who I'm in love with, and she doesn't want me to do any romantic scenes. (Kissing a girl, etc)

I was just wondering if I should ignore what's in me to pursue an acting career cause my girlfriend is uncomfortable with it, or pursue it anyway?

Shouldn't she uderstand that's what comes with the territory? I don't think she trusts you to be professional enough. I'm no relationship guru but assure her that she has nothing to worry about. Invite her to castings and things like that so she knows that nothing goes on behind the scene. Get her actively involved to achieve what you're passionate about - I'm sure if she feels the same way about you she would jump at the chance!

Yeah man, if she's not going to fly with you on your music and acting dreams, cut her loose, ignoring her isn't going to work. You had a post earlier about how you're not allowed to drink more than two-beer per week. She's controlling you and you're letting her.

A person's dreams and passions define who they are, give those up and you've lost your identity.
