    Residence interview sponsor
Hi, I have an interview at January 29 2009 for my U.S residence (Green card) (through my Wife, she is US citizen), everything is OK so far, but my Wife lose her job in December 1, 2008 and she still doesn’t have a job (She’s taking a break). My question is if I could have problems with that. I have an H1 Working Permit and I make $55,000, I don’t know if we need to find another sponsor, please I need some advise, thanks.

You may be asked for copy of latest tax return, which will be fine if the sponsor's income is over 125% of poverty guidelines. Since she just stopped working about a month ago, I think you'll be OK.. but you should file tax return and bring the latest one to the interview. Good luck..
