I apologise in advance for my poor terminology!
My problem is this: We have a Central heating system heated by a combi-boiler. There are 3 Rads on ground floor, 3 on 1st floor and one in the loft bedroom. I have plenty of hot water so I doubt it's a boiler problem, but the Radiators are not working properly. The heating is on a timer and comes on twice daily, first in the morning and then again around 6pm, but the ground floor Rads get a lot hotter in the morning than they do in the evening. The loft Rad has never got very hot but I put this down to the hot water cylinder and header tank being on the floor below (Boiler is on Ground floor). I can't understand how the Gd floor radiators can possibly work sometimes and not others!? :confused: We have a thermostat on the ground floor but it doesn't seem to do anything. We also had people come in and flush the system early last year, they took a ground floor Rad off and pumped liquid in/out but that didn't seem to change anything either. It may sound odd but it really does seem like the colder the weather is, the worse the heating is - during spring/autumn it seemed OK, but now that it's winter we can see our breath it's so cold downstairs at night.:(
Please let me know if there is anything else I can tell you that might help the diagnosis.

I just thought I'd let you know that the problem is still there, and the more I keep a check on it the more it really does seem like the heating doesn't work so well when the weather is colder - I know it must sound bizzarre! :confused:
Is there anyone out there with any crazy ideas?
