    I'm 15 with TERRIBLE chest pains
    Hi for the past couple of months my chest has ben killing me I brake down and cry I want to scream my head off it hurts so bad but my parents don't think anything of it so they won't take me to see a doctor what should I do?

    No I never see my sister or my family I only have neighbors that are like my family

    Then how about letting a neighbor know about the way that you're feeling so that they might speak with your parents about it?

    Hopefully, something will get done if another adult knows about this.

    Actually my neighbor greg does know and he has told my dad but nothing!

    You could have a serious medical condition that is being overlooked and even if your pain is psychosomatic it still needs to be addressed.

    You can call child protective services.It would be a daring move on your part but it is an option.Or perhaps your neighbor friend could make the call for you. This could be considered child neglect.

    I'm nervous to do that I don't want to be takein away or anything its not neglect its just that my dad has all the money and is a conrtole freak about it and my mom doesn't make any money so... yea its not neglect

    I don't understand why they don't take care of this.Even control freaks take care of their children.If you have a medical problem and they are not taking care of it,it is neglect my dear. They are neglecting to give you medical treatment.
    You deserve to have your problem addressed .Maybe if you threatened to call CPS they would feel threatened enough to act as proper parents should.

    That happens to me too and I'm 13 its like your heart is poping out hey? I don't know eather but I don't want to tell my mom or no one because when I was small I did something I wasent supost to

    What did you do? I smoked all summer then I started again for all of winter too and now I quit I'm happy but I guess now its coming back I don't want to tell my mom because I might get in terrible trouble unless it was when we were with my mom and her boyfriend and they smoked a lot IN THE CAR WITH ME IN IT AND half the time the smoke came in the back where I was my mom quit smoking but it hurts a lot it comes once a week and it hurts for 30 minutes non stop some times I can't even move

    I get the same thing... are they sharp stabbing pains in your chest? Does it hurt when you take deep breaths?

    Any time when a parent refuses to take their child to the doctor when their could be an issue... in my book that is neglect... especially when it has something to do with your chest you may have a condition and your parents aren't giving you the attention that you deserve... they should take you seriously... so yes thy are neglectng you
