My ex girlfriend broke up with me about 4 months ago we haven't spoke until recently.She says we might end up being together a couple years from now but for now she wants us to be friends with benefits and I rejected that offer. If she doesn't like me then why does she want to know about my personal life?

It is only right you rejected that being"friends with benefit" thing. So there's no point of asking why she's curious about your personal life. Move on.

She wants her cake and to eat it too. She wants to have things you guys did in the relationship, like the sex and the closeness. She doesn't want you to be with anyone else yet she wanted the freedom of not being in a relationship. She wants you to basically wait around for her to decide to be if she wants to be with you or not. I would forget about her... it's never a good thing to be with someone who is that selfish.

I completely agree with ingrid119. She wants to have you close and have sex with you because you are good to her. At the same time she wants the freedom to be with or do whatever she wants without owing you anything. Is this fair to you? Doesn't seem like she cares about your feelings buddy. You did well in telling her no. You are worth more than that and if she can't see it then it's her loss. Remove this selfish chick from your life.
