I have been in serious pain over the past week due to the winter break. I have an asian girlfriend who went back home and I live in Europe.. we have been dating for 5 months and I truly love her, make an effort to call her everyday but one day she told me to call her and I ended up knowing that she was crying because of her X's action. What happened was that she was celebrating new years with her friends who one was her x and what her x did was he kissed another girl in front of her.. maybe I don't understand girl emotions but how she cried over the phone for a long time because of this event just made me feel she still has feelings for him but does not want to admit.I feel like am just a replacement who she is using to remove all the pain to or maybe convert me to her X. I am so depressed right now and I don't know if single hood would do good for me rather than this pain
please help me if I don't understand women emotions or maybe am right..

How long that they are together and separated before you went out?

I think you are right that she's not yet completely over him. It may be insulting to kiss someone in fron of your ex but she should not cry about it. Give credits that she's honest and keep a distance for a while.

No she isn't over him. If she was she wouldn't had reacting the way she did especially since she is with you.

She might have been fine when she was with you especially since she lives in a different place and moved on because she thought she was ready for something new but going back and seeing him most likely prove she wasn't.

I think the crying was an over reaction and further prove she wasn't unless she was drinking, which isn't an excuse. I think you should've a heart felt talk with her asap.
