So at the top of the board we have the stickys for advice on when your dumped or how to get them back or surviving the break up but no advice or tips on what to do or to expect if you get back with your ex.

Can anybody offer any help?

Honestly and talking, history repeats if you don't change the issues that was causing them

If you do, you have to wipe the slate clean and forget all of the past. You have to treat this relationship and this girl a brand new and fresh. Otherwise the same issues will pop up and history will repeat itself.

These are all very hard things to do, especially for the one who was hurt in the initial break-up.

Don't do it...

Expect the same BS, unless you have come up with a better way to resolve things. Either grow up or get smarter, whatever it takes. Or what's the point?

A lot of Drama if nothing has changed from the first time around.

I agree a lot of break up posts on the forum start with - Can you help me get them back -

This topic would cause the worst backlash of posts I have ever seen in my life.

Rarely do couples get back together, even more rare are the ones that stick together. After being on this site, I have a strict rule, if it ends, it's DONE! I won't go back, life goes forward, why bring loves back from the past

Don't go back if these are the reason for break up..
1. abuse
2. multiple infidelity
3. irreconcilable differences
4. major lies

After getting back together, It may take several weeks to feel that ecstatic feeling again. One person lie lows and the other one is trying hard.
