I need help finding the title to a movie.. I think it was in the early to mid 80's. It was about a guy who had a race car hidden in the floor of his garage. He used to be a race car driver at some point. As I remember something happened to where there was no gas and people didn't drive anymore. Towards the end I remember he got the car out of the garage and drove it and don't remember much else. Please help!!

The Last Chase (1981)

Not sure if this is the one you're looking for or not but it sounds a little like "The Green Hornet". He kept his car hidden under his garage floor, suspended upside down with steel clamps. When he pushed a button, the floor would flip, positioning the car right side up and ready to go.
