I hate too say this, but if it was done right. No it can not happen. Has you cat showed signs of being in heat. Cats generally have their kittens 58 to 65 days after they are bred. So the best I can tell you is wait and see. If she is I would bring the kittens in the office and tell them you want your money back and a free spay. (O:

If your cat is pregnant it can be spayed and the kittens aborted at the same time. I've seen this done on numerous cats at work. Usually if a vet doesn't feel comfortable doing it in the last trimester he won't. Although I do believe that you can spay up until they have them. The only concern is the amount of blood loss. Doing a blood panel before surgery will help a great deal also. If the cat is pregnant and allowed to have kittens I would do it when the kittens are about 4 weeks old seeing as cats go into heat and will become pregnant again about 4 weeks after giving birth. So 3-4 weeks after giving birth the cat can be spayed. Estrus is suppressed when milk production exists, though sometimes that doesn't happen and can come into heat 7-12 days after giving birth. If your cat is pregnant I'd spay her and abort the kittens.
