    Wrongful charge for military equipment
My son was discharged from the Army in Dec. He packed and sent his csi equipment to Iraq, but was never deployed. The Army is charging him $5,800.00 for the equipment that was forwarded. How can they do this, he had no control of the situation? What recourse does he have?

Have a hearing, present his evidence where it was shipped.

    Hello d:

If he was ordered to send his stuff, then he needs to present evidence of that fact to the court.

Of course, you say they are just "charging" him... Does that mean all he's received is a bill? If that's the case, have him send a letter to the billing department, and tell them that. It might be the end of it. I don't know.

If they SUE him, tell him to defend himself in court.
