    Prickling all over the body
    Hello there,

I have a itching/prickling sensation when ever I am exposed to sun or when ever I jog. It seems that I feel prickled all over the body(especially on my back) whenever my body gets heated up. I feel prickled even when I am nervous or in tension. Can anybody please help me out with my problem. I really don't know who to approach and what causes my body to prickle when I am nervous or when my body is heated up. Even if a room is too hot, my body starts prickling. Please help me out.

    Thank you in anticipation

    With regards

I would suggest that you see your doctor. The prickly-heat thing is often (though not always) neurologic, and it's best to have a doctor take a look at you. It's often nothing serious, but best to have it checked.

    Thanks akoue,

I have already seen this answer from you while you were answering somebody else who was suffering the same problem. I will certainly contact a neurologist. Indeed I thought of seeing a dermotologist. But I changed my mind after reading your answer. Thanks a lot for your suggestion.

    Cheers

Ah, so I'm repeating myself, am I?

I had this problem when I was younger. It turned out not to be a big deal (except for the discomfort) and in time it went away. I hope you have the same good fortune!

I've had this once in awhile myself, and I always take a shower right after and drink lots of water and then it goes away. We also got a indoor portable sauna and that helped take away the tingles as well.
