    What are the state of Florida requirements for a daycare?
    I have been babysitting for three families in my home most of the year totaling 7 kids I never have more then 3 of them at a time do I need to have a license?

    You will have to be approved and inspected by the County and get a license to run a day care if you are having that many children in your home at once. Surprised none of your neighbors haven't turned you in.

    Well actually... Go to this website:Child Care Information - Laws and Requirements and look up statute 402.302, Definitions.
    It states, "(2) "Child care facility" includes any child care center or child care arrangement which
    provides child care for more than five children unrelated to the operator and which receives a
    payment, fee, or grant for any of the children receiving care, wherever operated, and whether
    or not operated for profit."
    However, it wouldn't hurt to get that license, just in case you do get more than 5 at a time.
