Is renting a pre-foreclosure from an aggregator a good idea?
Seeing some really great deals on townhomes for rent in my area. Seems they are all being offered by aggregator companies. There are rent to own options but I really don't want to buy property in this area. Is this kind of rental riskier than dealing with a more traditional property management company? What kind of pitfalls should I beware of?

    Please explain "pre foreclosed" homes.

Once they are foreclosed, any lease or contract on them will be voided.

Think of it like buying toys from China. It may be pretty and it may be cheap but it may contain lead.

It's up to you if you have the tolerance for an uncertain future in the rental.
