Legal rights to see my sibling
My stepmom and dad had a child ( my half brother ) 8 years ago . And we are really close. But recently my stepmum left my dad and took my brother with him and then told me I was no longer aloud contact with him but she is letting my dad see him. Its really hurt that she has done this to dillebratly hurt me but I wondered is there anyway I can get legal acess to him ?
Please wb if you have a solution or an idea of what options I have to see my brother
    Thanks x

This is a legal question and I have asked that it be moved.

Two questions - are you in the US or the UK? How old are you?

You may very well not be able to locate/see your brother until you are of legal age (if you are not) and he may not be allowed to have contact until he is of legal age.

If either one of you is under legal age your parents control the situation.

You need to talk to your dad and find out what the legal status of your stepmom leaving is. At some point in time, your dad should be able to get visitation rights where your brother can come and visit. At that point you should be able to spend time with him. But, unitl some court ordered visitation is in your place your step-mom controls things.
