I Just installed Won XP Medua, I want to serup some Partition Drives but can't. When I try to use Disk Manager I can't view drives I get this message "Can't access Logical Management Service". How can I start the "Logical Management Service".

Do you have any other operating systems on this computer, I once had a similar problem when Linux was installed as a dual boot device!

No I don't it is new PC with no other OS installed

Have you looked through the started services list? It's there in computer management under services and applications.

Yes I have tried started several that looked like they would have something that woould help also restarted PC after with no change
