This is not abondoment, this is merely not paying his child support
You file a motion to bring him back to court
Yes, but it is still done though famiy court and you have to go back there.
They will not do anything for just 30 days late. This merely allows them to put them in jail if they get too far behind. Normally the judge will warn them, give them a few chances before that ever happens.
GA has a good child support enforcement department, they should be handing this. Also GA normally allows for garnishment of the paycheck very easy.
Ga does not have a good child support enforcement dept. According to GA law, you can file child abandonment charges after a year of non payment of child support. I was told by ga child support enforcement to file chils abandonment charges on my own for non payment of child support.
