How else can I avoid a pregnency
So my boyfriend and I had sex on new years and when we realized that there was 8 seconds left of 2008, he realized that his condom has fallen off. It had been a while and he freaked out. Weirdly enough, I am not freaking out at all but I am beginning to get scared. We still have like 15 days till my period too. He went out and got the plan be pill and I took that about 12 hours after our unprotected sex and we are hoping that it is going to be OK. He keeps telling me though that he has a feeling that I am going to be pregnant. I'm only 17 and we planned everything in case I did get pregnant but I mean I would rather not have a kid when I go to college. How else can yo uavoid a pregnency like cause a miscarriage? I read about tap water but you have to drink A LOT of tap water. And I think lifting can cause a miscarriage? But I do not want to just drink a bunch of alcohol because if I do have a baby I don't want to hurt it. Sounds mean but I would rather it be a healthy or a nonexistant baby. Helppp?

Relax. If you took the morning after pill you should be okay.

Just shows you aren't ready for sex if you aren't ready to accept the consequences of the behavior.

    Yeah pretty much.
But I won't even know if I am pregnant until I am supposed to get my period so I do not know what else I can do right now to make sure I do get my period and do not have a baby

You need to go to your doctors now. That is the safe call !

That help you will not find here on this forum.

That is not 100% correct. No contraception is 100% fool proof.

As a labor and delivery nurse it is against my beliefs to tell you how to kill a baby without medical intervention.

Also, you don't even know whether you are pregnant yet. If you are not ready for the consequences of sex, maybe you should reconsider if you are old enough to be having sex.

I don't even want to kill it though you know what I am saying I would rather have a healthy baby and do anything I can or no baby at all. A baby can't be forming inside of me already can it? That is what I am asking to avoid right now even though I knew the consequence and we planned not everything but are preparing for anything.

... a baby can't start already can it? Its still just like a little egg isn't it?

It's been 5 days, so yes, the sperm could have reached the egg by now and it would be traveling down the fallopian tube to implant into the uterus at this point.

Whenever there is sex involved there is a risk of pregnancy. The only form of birth control that is absolutely 100% effective is abstinence.

You have been old enough to have a sexual relationship with your boyfriend, now it is time you acted like an adult.

Book yourself an appointment at a local family planing ( health clinic )

Visit your local doctor to get a true result of if or if not you are.

    Ask yourself -

Am I ready to be a parent ?

Am I ready to tell my parents I'm having a baby ?

Do I want to drop out of school ?

Will my boyfriend be around when I have a child at our age ?

I am not trying to be off with you but to many young people have sex and never think about the if's -

Unfortunately you now have to wait and see if your period comes.
