    REALLY dry throat
Okay well for the last week I've been waking up in the middle of the night with a really dry throat and it lasts all night and sometime into the morning like when I wake up its really dry. And when I wake up at night its as if there is a whole bunch of saliva pooled up at the back of my throat that I can not swallow. And last night I got up and tried to drink some water, but that just made my throat hurt even more. And more saliva in the back of my throat... Does anyone know what this could be.

    Additionnal Info:
    -I do have Asthma
-I do have a dog, have had him for three and a half years though so don'T think I'm allergic or anything.
-I do drink a lot of water
    - Also right near when my throat started hurting my mom started using our de-humidifier, could this have something to do with it??

Sounds like the air is too dry where you are sleeping. I had this too somewhat until I bought a small humidifier for night time. Didn't have any more problems after my room was humidifed.

Why does she have the de-humidifier on in the winter ? It should be the other way around. If you don't have a humidifier on your furnace, the heat takes out the moisture. It humidiity has to be replaced in the winter months.
