Could I be pregnant or am I just stressed?
    Hello,

Recently I started feeling numerous pregnancy symptoms. I've read many times in the past about implantation bleeding and about 2 weeks ago experienced something dead on to the description of that. I only noticed that for a matter of hours, and then it was gone. It was VERY light, brown at first then pink by the 5th hour then was gone. Since then, I've missed my period, had sore breasts, more nausea than I've ever had before, some pretty good food aversions & serious cravings for only Taco Bell (which I usually hate). I've had a little heartburn every now and then & I've been a little bloated for about 2 1/2 weeks now (not like me at all). My only problem is that I'm in a HORRIBLE relationship with this guy - he's very controlling, serious anger issues, pretty much the whole kit-n-kaboodle. I've been under so much stress so I don't know what to do.

I don't have money for the doctor right now (because he'll find out and freak), I don't live by any planned parenthood, & I took one pregnancy test a friend bought me, but it didn't work - nothing showed up at all - not even a negative. So I'm in a little bit of a pickle. I obviously plan on moving out... but - I just needed to see what some others thought about my situation. Any help would be appreciated. Thanks!

It doesn't sound like you are in any sort of situation where you can afford to go without birth control. I hope if you aren't pregnant, you get yourself protected immediately.

I had what, at the time, they called 'spotting' when I was pregnant with my first child. It was much as you described.

You need to see a doctor. Is there a clinic, or some sort of subsidized program where you live so you can get the help you need? Can you borrow money from a parent, friend, or relative? If these are not symptoms of pregnancy, then something else is going on, and you need to be checked. Surely there are women's resources available to you such as shelters.

That being said, you have an abusive relationship going on there. I'm glad you realize that you need to get out, and you said you are going to. Regardless of whether you are pregnant or not, I hope you carry through with that plan. Bringing a baby into such a relationship is a recipe for disaster. Your relationship with him won't get better with a baby in the house.

I can only imagine the stress you are under, and a pregnancy will complicate that no doubt. For now you must take care of yourself. Find a safe place to go, get the medical help you need, and start thinking about your future. Set some goals, and do what you need to do.

I wish you luck, whether you are pregnant or not, and a healthy future.
