    Installing a cable outlet
I want to install a cable outlet in our master bedroom but have a couple of questions. I live in a condo unit where, according to our cable company, they cannot run another outlet from the master box. Can I just attach a splitter from the existing cable outlet and run it into the bedroom (the existing outlet is on a shared wall to the bedroom)? Also, as I have a plasma TV and an LCD TV, will sharing the main cable affect the resolution of the screen?

The splitter should work OK, provided the original outlet provides a strong signal (if not, use an amplified splitter). It won't affect your TV's resolution.

    Yes to splitter
Adding a splitter won't change resolution.
