I am a single mother of a functional autistic child who is 14 yrs old, I have tried every thing I can think of and prayed, alog with it he is living in a very positive environment,woth me and his younger brother and sister,he has been lying,trying to fight me and stealing my money,I don't know if it is because we moved to a different,state here in Delaware,from Maryland,he has been having trouble,in school although his grades are great,but he has been jumped(3 boys beat him up at one time). I don't know what else to do... I have told his father,and his father said to give him custody,but he needs the paper work first.. so how do I do this in Delaware,and his father lives in lenardtown, Maryland. Help!!

Go together to the county courthouse where your original case was filed. Ask the clerk if s/he can help you find the correct forms to fill out so that you can modify the custody and physical placement agreement that is already in place.

What does your son say? Does he want to live with his father? Have you tried talking to him to find out why he acts the way he does? His behavior could be a cry for help.
