    Just Quit My Job
I worked independently for a lady that did patients and trademarks. I live in Illinois and she lives in California. My duties included filing, faxes, accounts payable and receivable, patient work and trademark work, bank deposits, office supplies buying, and misc small arrands.
I spent a long time driving back and forth to her mail box which was 45 miles away, and was asked to take her daughter shopping because she could not trust her because she was doing heavy drugs. I was told to give daughter 20.00 to 50.00 every time I saw her, and to take the money directly out of bank with the ATM card. The ATM card was given to me by the ower with the pin.
I was told if I ever needed my paycheck early to withdrawl the amount of hours I had in as well. I was given a printer by my boss as a gift to start me off in my home office as well.
Well unfortunetly the daughter got very out of control, calling demanding money all the time, and tried to star a lot of misc. problems with her mouth. She left threatening messages on my phone of doing bodily harm to me if I did not give her money right away.
I noticed she did damage and stole from her mother's other residence her in Illinois, in which I contacted the mother, only to have the daughter deny.
The daughter is pregnant ready to have a baby, but she tries to fight everyone and does crack. Loves drama too.
In November my boss mailed me a paycheck, then I did not hear from her again for 6 weeks. I did 31 hours of work and needed my money so I took out 240.00 out of ATM. That would be actually 30 hours of pay.
I decided since the daughter was in fact harassing me and my family, I no longer wanted to work for this lady nor tolerate her child. So, I packed up all the office files, and bookkeeping work and returned it to her other residence.
In about 4 days after, her friend which is a paralegal contacted me via email demanding I put back the 240.00 in bank, and demanded I return the printer. This women claimed she was an attorney to me as well and told me to govern my actions accordingly, and proceeded to call my mother to tell her she was getting arrested, etc..
I called tis lady informed her I was owed the wage and everything was returned as well. She stated I had 24 hours to bring her the printer an hour from my house. At this point, I told her not to conact me via email nor phone.
My question is how do I handle this from here.

Did you go to the bar association and see if she was in fact an attorney, if not, report her to the Bar for pretending to be one.

Request everything I writing, and send the owner a letter requesting the remainder of your pay within the required state time frame
