A merchant is trying to sell a donkey to one of his fellow townsfolk.
"Hey, Can I interest you in a donkey"
"Sure"
"That will be 100 shillings"
When the merchant shows him the donkey, they see that the donkey is dead.
"Oh, I'm sorry."
"I still want the donkey"
"What?"
"Here's your 100 shillings"
The man receives the donkey and leaves the merchant puzzled. The next day the merchant sees the man and asks him what he did with the donkey.
"So, what happened?"
"Hm?"
"The Donkey"
"Oh, I gave out about 500 raffle tickets for 2 dollars each. Everyone was happy except the guy who won. I refunded his two dollars back"
