Hi everyone I am new to this site and I have a quick question if anyone can help me I would be so grateful.I just bought a 50 inch Sanyo flat screen TV and I would like to hook up my dvd/vcr combo and my sony surround and my satillite to it so I can watch my dvd's in surround .I did mange to get the dvd to play but it was playing in blk and what and I didn't try the surround as of yet if anyone could help me that would be great .Oh yes on the back on the TV it has yellow ,what,red spots for the wires but it also has green and blue not sure what they are really for though thanks :)

Either use Yellow(composite) or component(red, blue, and green,) then a red and white for audio. With component, audio has a red, and video has a red, a little confusing.
HDMI is better.
