Hi,

My LMP was 04 Dec 2008, and I did a blood test ysday and was positive. Went to the doc tdy and she cld just see the thick line and a small dot but not clear. She has called me again on 28 Jan for check up.

But I wld like to know when wld I be due and how many weeks pregnant am I??

If your LMP started on December 4, you are currently 4 weeks and 2 days. Your due date would be September 8.

Thank u so much!! Also the hcg level was 179, which they said was little less... what shd be the normal one ?

Try not to worry too much about a single number as there is a very wide range of what would be "normal" for how far along you are. What they would like to see in an increase in your hcg levels so if they were at all concerned they will do another blood test to check for that increase.

Also, as J_9 mentioned, going with your last period it puts you at around 4 weeks, but keep in mind this is gestational age (which is commonly used for determining how far along you are and giving a due date). It is likely you are a bit less further along as you most likely did not get pregnant right away when your period ended. It is not uncommon to have a slight adjustment in the numbers once they do a scan. Regardless, you will still have about a 4 week window of time at the end of your pregnancy for what would be considered a "normal" time frame to give birth in.
