KT17S Kohler 17 HP Airiens GT 17 tractor I have a bad coil. Can I instll 2 coils to replace the OEM coil? OEM coil has a place for 2 spark plug wires So if I use 2 coils will it work and will I damange anything?

My answer would be no. That engine has both pistons "rise" in the cylinders at the same time in opposite directions and both plugs fire every revolution even though power is made every other revolution. This gives a counter-balance effect during operation. If is old and has points, then you may be able to substitute a solid-state igntion.
