I am trying to disconnect my iPod but it won't let me, it tells me that it can not be ejected because it contains other files in another application.

What do I do?

I take it your clicking on the disconnect button in itunes, try closing all other applications before clicking the button again (located next to the iPod picture in the itures side bar when you connect it)

It still saying the same thing.

I don't want to break it.

Hmmmm maybe try reinstalling the soft ware and resetting your iPod is the only other thing I can suggest, send an email to apple customer support and see if they can think of anything
