My name is Marcus and I am currently in the process of researching what is needed to become a talent/entertainment agent, I need to understand and legalities with lisencing, any tips on how to network to get venues for any acts etc.

I'd start with a law degree with an emphasis on entertainment law -

If you want to be a booking agent and not a talent agent it's a whole different thing.
