    Land contract tax breaks
Are there any tax breaks for the buyer in a land contract deal?

Who pays the real estate taxes on this deal now? If they do, there are no breaks for you. If the land contract deal has been recorded at the county and you pay the taxes, I would suggest you call your auditor's office and ask them. Sometimes the only tax breaks are for homestead exemptions and there is generally an over 65 years old to qualify for them. Check with the county and they will let you know if there are any available and how to qualify.
