Hello everyone. I've requested an appointment at the Portuguese Embassy in London to renew my passport about a month ago and still, no response from them. I have also sent them an email with the same request and tried to call the Embassy with no luck. Does anyone know what else shall I do to get that appointment? My passport and ID are expiring in two weeks and I'm getting beyond worried!

It certainly isn't QUICK. I had my passport renewed there on the 4th of October, was told to pay extra to have it posted (I work, does it look like I have time to go to London on their order? ) anyway I was told I would receive my passport within TEN working days! It has now been 14 working days and NOTHING.
The staff don't know whether to speak English or Portuguese to people. The emails are sent in Portuguese, despite me emailing them in English and making it clear I do NOT speak Portuguese... Bad Bad service. The guy called me up to pay but didn't use my surname then called me again and said oh I called you 15 minutes ago, acting all macho. Hello try using my NAME when calling me! Do not bother to go there, they charge a ridiculous amount and are not very polite!

If anyone still wants to go there and have the experience of their lives, and wait forever for their new passport...
