Why does the water comes out of my faucet while I use my sprayer?

Because the diverter is not fully closing inside the mixing valve. You can rebuild it or replace the valve, just the gutts not the whole faucet.

The diverter's located directly under the spout on the front side. Open up the valve and clean the gunk from around the diverter. Good luck. Tom
