    Caulking Around windows
Hi Hope you are having a Happy New Year! I have heard that it is a good idea to " caulk your windows and doors on the outside." "Where" exactly do you caulk or what do you caulk around?

    Thanks for any feedback!

Depends on some things. Caulk underneath, side and top inside of sill where the wood meets the window frame. Also caulk the ext window wood trim on the sides and the inside of the trim where it meets the window frame
The door is the same thing caulk the door trim on the edge that meets the house and the edge that meets the door jamb. If the caulking is good no need to caulk. If the caulking is bad is a couple of spots remove old loose piece and caulk or remove all of the old caulk to caulk new. Do not caulk over loose paint. Another added thing for keeping air from the inside house they have a sponge like material that you can put underneath your outlet covers that stop cold air into the house if its cold and airy at the outlets
