I have a 3 1/2 month old sheppard pitbull mix with a severe urninating problem. If anyone in the family or visitors walk in the door or we try to make her do anything she doesn't want to (i.e. go to the bathroom for a bath or go outside) she urninates. Can you help.

At one time or another she probably got scared, peed and you probably over compensated i.e. coddled her, soothed her, hugs and kisses etc. Now she's been conditioned to pee when nervous.

The good news, she young, the bad news, this has become a habit, and like any bad habit it must be broken.

When she pees inside don't react, just pick her up, bring her outside, tell her to potty, wait until she does and then praise.

She's still pretty young so it may take a while, but she'll catch on.
