    I want to wire a light to a light to a switch and if possible a receptacle at end

    Wow, can you try to explain a bit better what you want to do? A receptacle at the end of what?

    Do you have ANY experience doing electrical work? Do you have any books on residential electrical work?

    Wiring lighting
    I'm running new wire
    Powers going to come out of panel box to 4 Ft fluorescent light from light to second light from second light to light switch from light switch to receptacle
    2 lights
    1 switch
    1 receptacle

    I see you started a whole new thread for this. Maybe a mod can close the other one.


    What you propose to do might sound easy but that is a very complicated way to wire it, and not something DIYer can typically grasp. Do you NEED to wire it this way?

    A MUCH easier way would be to wire from the panel to a receptacle, then to the switch and on to the lights.
    The way you want to do it would require 3-wire" between all the lights and switches. Unless you are an advanced DIYer with electrical I would NOT do it this way.
