Hi I am a 21 year old female.. and I had abdominal pain today I don't know if you call abdominal it's the area right about my private I guess where my uterus would be... im not sure if I have a bladder infection... I never had one before... but sometimes when I'm at work I won't go to the bathroom but it depends like I work 2-10... and if I have to go early in the day then I might go... if I have someone to cover for me... but if I have to go around 8 or 9 I won't go because I don't like to use that bathroom... and on top of tha I don't get a break... I did just get it today on Tuesday dec.30th... so I'm not sure if its just today or what... but I will see how long it last... what are some causes for this... and I'm not pregnant... im on birth control... and I just had my period...

I was having pains in that area too. Mine feel like cramps. I have them even when I'm not on my period. I went to the doctor several times and they told me it was a UTI. But they kept giving me antiboitics and nothing was working. So they put me on birth control. That stopped it. But I just started having the cramps again. So.. I don't know

Oh OK... well mine only lasted for that one day... and I haven't had them so I'm figuring maybe it was just gas... idk... it really felt like pressure... so I thought I had a bladder infection... do you drink a lot of soda?

So the pain went away then? I was going to say I had pain that was absolutely unbearable when I was around 18 and found out I had an ovarian cyst. Luckily it went away on it's own. Sometimes they don't. If the pain comes back you should go see a doctor.

Yeah I had an acyst before in the same area it came from the birthcontrol I was on.. I didn't have any pain the doctor just happened to see.it... it went away on its own as well... most of them should but I have the pain again I'm going to go to the doctor... I was going to go if I had it the next day but it went away... my b/f said he had the same pain right there and he said it was just gas... becasue the day before I was at work and I drink soda the entire time I was there because its free for us employees and I did have a bubbling feeling in my stomach which was now that I think about probably gas
