    Arizona state tax
I am renting a house in Arizona and I have to pay state taxes on that rent every month. So my question is, is it possible for my husband and I to claim the tax we pay on our tax return?

Not sure what you mean by "I am renting a house".

Are you the landlord or the tenant?

Yes, as a "sales taxes" as part of your itemized deduction, but ONLY IF the accumulated sales taxes exceed the state income taxes withheld.
