    Cooling Anticipator
Does anyone know if the "Anticipator" is adjustable on an analog Weathertron Thermostat? My system is a Trane Heat Pump. I'd like to increase the interval of "Off-Time" after the house reaches the temperature setting in the cooling mode. Thanks.

The anticipator works only on the heat mode of all the thermostats I know about. I think what you would want to change is the differential hich increases the number of degrees between the off and the on of the unit

Thanks, obviously I've called this by the wrong name, but you're correct in what I'm trying to do. Do you know if the Weathertron Thermostat has a differential adjustment? I didn't see anything adjustable under the front cover of the thermostat.

I am not familiar with that brand of thermostat but all thermostats that are more than just a few dollars have the adjustment. The Honywell has to have a small wrench to adjust it.
Sorry that I am not being much help to you, maybe someone with experence with that brand will answer you.

Thanks, you were a lot of help. At least now I know what to ask for, and can find out more from the mfg. Again, many thanks for your help.
