    Quit claim deed not honored
My ex-husband signed a quit claim deed to our Marriott time share which the attorney filed in Orange County, Florida 5 years ago (when we divorced). It was notorized and everything seemed fine until I finally got to the period where I now paid the time share off and was mailed the deed; which is in my ex-husband and my name. I called the Marriott and they said, there is nothing they will do unless I send them $350.00 to redo this; they do see the quit claim deed but are NOT willing to redo the deed!! I spoke to a lawyer who called them up and he said don't worry you own it and everything is in your name. This is bull, what happens if I want to sell, the big thing here is I paid my attorney to do the quit claim deed, does the Marriott have a leg to stand on and how can I make them re do the deed??

You shouldn't need to re-do the Marriott deed. The deed from your ex is dated after the Marriott deed. That means that you own 100% of it. If you want to sell all you have to do is provide the buyer with copies of both deeds.
