    Easier to get Pregnant

For some women it may be, but it will depend on the individual. Hormones go through a number of changes after baby is born and ovulation may happen very soon after birth for some women, or not for many weeks, or even months, for others.

Breastfeeding plays an obvious role, and while it is a pretty good form of birth control (when exclusive), it does not offer 100% protection.

Generally it is recommended to wait until your postpartum checkup at 6 weeks before resuming sex, but that doesn't mean it would be wise to become pregnant again that quickly. A woman's body is still healing for quite sometime, even if she feels great.

Important to remember that you ovulate before having a period so some women do find themselves pregnant and wondering how that can be since they never started their periods back up. Other women may first get an anovulatory cycle (bleeding but no ovulation) as a reminder that things are starting to get back to normal.

Another factor... if a woman had fertility issues prior to pregnancy, having a baby does not necessarily negate that... just as some women will find it difficult to get pregnant again after already having had a child or more.

Is it safe to try for another two years after giving birth?

If you want to I believe so. You might want to get checked out by a doctor but everything should be healed.

In most cases, two years is fine... general recommendation is to wait at least 6 months to a year (a year being what you will hear most often), and a little longer after a caesarean birth, so that your body has time to fully heal and you can be ready again physically, emotionally, and nutritionally.

As Starbucks21 said, it is always a good idea to see your doctor since you know you are wanting to try again. Many couples would benefit from having a preconception visit.
