I have no idea what "dose com" means but regedit allows one to edit the Windows Registry. It should not be used by someone who is a novice with Windows.

Used ato edit the windows registry for various reasons (troubleshooting, making changes to the PC to how it acts or does things etc.. ) along thos lines but should not be used unless familiar with it and you know what you are trying to accomplish

Not recommended if you are asking about it, one mis-placed edit and your whole system could be shot and have to start from scratch.

If not familiar with regedit and something would need to be done with it, I would recommend finding someone who is

If you run regedit and I assume you have, Do Not Change Anything

I agree! If you're not accustomed to working "behind the lines" in your computer system, it's not a good idea to be messing with the registry!
