How can I read my child's old text messages

I wouldn't recommend reading your child's old texts at all as I doubt they'd appreciate you snooping through their private messages :confused:. However, if the messages are still in the inbox, you can access them through that but if they've been deleted I don't think it's possible. It would be difficult to say how to get to the inbox without knowing what brand and model the phone is but there is usually a little picture of an envelope on main menu and that usually brings up another menu or compose or write new, sent messages, and inbox. If the messages you want are anywhere, they're there but I still disagree with the entire concept as it is mistrustful and unfair on your child.
